Each participant was sent these five patterns and asked to make one or more of the projects. If you are a frequent reader, you probably know I make a lot of the Villa Rosa patterns for my charity donations, so I was really surprised to receive five patterns I didn’t already have. </span><p></p><p></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/a/AVvXsEjbym3pIGdqbn_mc4qvOtmifi_0xSWUnkpKV6HdvE-e8nY6kPvJhBNOTBAJr3GDmq7XRs-pW9GCSCcRC0sMQYrKz7W4wavn7dqLsM6BmxIhs7JU6EL-dzvBZrOZX3ZesAJcGgmx20Id9ZyxXm4JatBbNUM5PxJ-ixAz3QaOXRhBNyN4mfd7s4Vh1pqInwM" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img alt="" data-original-height="315" data-original-width="320" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/a/AVvXsEjbym3pIGdqbn_mc4qvOtmifi_0xSWUnkpKV6HdvE-e8nY6kPvJhBNOTBAJr3GDmq7XRs-pW9GCSCcRC0sMQYrKz7W4wavn7dqLsM6BmxIhs7JU6EL-dzvBZrOZX3ZesAJcGgmx20Id9ZyxXm4JatBbNUM5PxJ-ixAz3QaOXRhBNyN4mfd7s4Vh1pqInwM" width="244" /></a></div><br /><span style="font-family: verdana;">And, you know what? Apparently, it started as National Quilting Day. Here’s what my local PBS station says:</span></div><p><span face=""PBS Sans", "-apple-system, BlinkMacSystemFont, \"PBS Sans\", \"Segoe UI\", \"Roboto\", \"Oxygen\",\"Ubuntu\", \"Cantarell\", \"Fira Sans\",\"Droid Sans\", \"Helvetica Neue\", sans-serif"" style="-webkit-text-size-adjust: 100%; background-color: #eef0f5; caret-color: rgb(10, 20, 90); color: #0a145a; font-size: 18px;">Every third Saturday of March is a day to celebrate the rich tradition of quiltmaking. The Quilt Alliance and the National Quilt Museum recall the origins of this day: a "Quilter's Day Out" organized by the Kentucky Heritage Quilt Society in 1989. The day for local quilters to show their makes and share the love of the craft was a success. Participating quilters elected to make it a national event thereafter. The first National Quilting Day was observed in 1992. So get your quilts out and display them with pride this Saturday! And remember, keep on quilting. </span></p><p><span style="color: #0a145a; font-family: verdana;"><span style="-webkit-text-size-adjust: 100%; background-color: white; caret-color: rgb(10, 20, 90);">The Fat Quarter Shop has <a href="https://blog.fatquartershop.com/top-10-free-quilt-patterns-for-worldwide-quilting-day/" target="_blank">10 free patterns</a> to help celebrate. I went to the LQS to buy another, but they no longer have any in stock. I saw the Betty quilt on someone’s blog and wanted to make one. I kept looking and finally found the book….then I lost it again—twice. Of course, I’m now mentally in the habit at looking at the time on the car clock and automatically subtracting an hour. Haha, it’s always something. I used to really look forward to daylight saving time because I wanted the extra hour of daylight in the evening. That was when I did more gardening and yard work. I’m over all of that now and just want my regular bedtime to stay the same. Last night at bedtime (10 pm for me), I wasn’t sleepy yet and ended up staying up another hour. I went down a rabbit hole with YouTube videos. I was actually looking for a crocheted shawl pattern, but I found this cute bunny. </span></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><span style="font-family: verdana;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgHEb8hF_WOlpbz0NvBjj3on7Kjuf5Q0FQC8jzHD6BU4HtBM8vvkJdr4uNCWcUsS8pHL1dOm9pqargN8lsF_tkUCONMJYXFaoB6fqTNsTvXglNdiLUHjDX8O_ZU-FVAreYIvXNkPpzlNgzWYyHXBIpqJB4RZW9sPKjDe2D7wplkxKfYE2L0xaY5otE7yPU/s480/IMG_0779.jpeg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="270" data-original-width="480" height="180" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgHEb8hF_WOlpbz0NvBjj3on7Kjuf5Q0FQC8jzHD6BU4HtBM8vvkJdr4uNCWcUsS8pHL1dOm9pqargN8lsF_tkUCONMJYXFaoB6fqTNsTvXglNdiLUHjDX8O_ZU-FVAreYIvXNkPpzlNgzWYyHXBIpqJB4RZW9sPKjDe2D7wplkxKfYE2L0xaY5otE7yPU/s320/IMG_0779.jpeg" width="320" /></a></span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><span style="font-family: verdana;"><br /></span></div><span style="font-family: verdana;">I didn’t have time to finish it, but I got one side made.<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgWpZB-E6vxglhg8q4BSrztdaUOVat4u6vpZVVQZS091LR-ZV09Ar2jXC7jgqfEMumsUQAmN4f9cgI2lKPefRz7EPABTEGzQNkBHP21xSBu4VvT05mVL5new4KPmO9IjKBxfB3oLHhc5rozU9kIHbJiAqGKFCNcW9tEBubxMakJSAxfcKA8hSL_z0c7mxc/s4000/20240310_180058.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="4000" data-original-width="3000" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgWpZB-E6vxglhg8q4BSrztdaUOVat4u6vpZVVQZS091LR-ZV09Ar2jXC7jgqfEMumsUQAmN4f9cgI2lKPefRz7EPABTEGzQNkBHP21xSBu4VvT05mVL5new4KPmO9IjKBxfB3oLHhc5rozU9kIHbJiAqGKFCNcW9tEBubxMakJSAxfcKA8hSL_z0c7mxc/s320/20240310_180058.jpg" width="240" /></a></div><p>I think I messed up on the increases on the back side. Little by little, I'm working my way back to some version of normal. I had a doctor's appointment yesterday, and he said extreme fatigue seems to be the predominant symptom of this strain of Covid. I asked him how long it would take to get back to normal, and he didn't have any timeline for that. No progress on work stuff or on personal projects. I got sick last week and didn't have the energy to do anything. I did a Covid test last weekend after I noticed I couldn't smell the coffee I had just made, and the test was positive. I never really felt bad other than a little upper respiratory congestion--but I have been absolutely drained of energy. I quarantined at home for the recommended five days, mostly just sleeping and watching tv. </span></p><p><span style="font-family: verdana;">I'm back at work in my shop as of Thursday, but I can't last all day. I just do what I can do, and then go back home......and back to bed. I have been trying to get caught up on Gloria's memory quilt. I had wanted to get it done and out the door before I got sick.</span></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><span style="font-family: verdana;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj5vuENLGFfmSmLPfrWdeYJxIPRn9aqRWkloKe038MYKd62CKnAjryx9KIRDKQbZOH_SXlGdqxoUstcSpxu5ogj0nWeVpztBf_a5vecOud-hQkAeFd9Gr-g9GbwxV8JTudUXrGJmk2hXezMtGKC2FA0WNVd3Nf1xlxnSralJ8G8qzbxY8bFr5vYL53Nj_g/s2687/20240221_144821.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2687" data-original-width="2679" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj5vuENLGFfmSmLPfrWdeYJxIPRn9aqRWkloKe038MYKd62CKnAjryx9KIRDKQbZOH_SXlGdqxoUstcSpxu5ogj0nWeVpztBf_a5vecOud-hQkAeFd9Gr-g9GbwxV8JTudUXrGJmk2hXezMtGKC2FA0WNVd3Nf1xlxnSralJ8G8qzbxY8bFr5vYL53Nj_g/s320/20240221_144821.jpg" width="319" /></a></span></div><span style="font-family: verdana;">As of yesterday, I got it all sewn together and got the borders put on. I walked two miles Monday and Tuesday. I’ll go again this afternoon. I went to the fitness center Monday and Wednesday mornings for an exercise class so I’m staying on track on that too. The instructor is killing me with the squats. I can barely stand up from a seated position. I have been doing the class for some time, but I missed a couple of weeks, plus the instructor changed up the routines and added the split-leg squats. My thighs are so sore. </span></p>Carolynhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09185472532776331210noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5678668371644705359.post-51847730960120399702024-02-06T01:30:00.005-06:002024-02-06T01:30:00.146-06:00To-Do-List Tuesday 2-6-24<p><span style="font-family: verdana;">Happy Tuesday friends! And, like most people, I didn't really use it. It was one of the basket type, and it was okay for reheating takeout or fixing frozen tater tots.<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi3-UDjnWYhniatdokIYPx_LdwlFRyZhDCrD2WqAmRsLk9rODVH32WSHnIQe2eacwbF6TaRGPWV3_J9geDqHos_PKFjaZUF1JIDfnGkXqOB7HP2JYO7YsJD_qd1B9UciN00rBOXFSpXOwsMdtAftZJBKpfBV9rIzevR0JOVpG-L3P-37uMBGMKMRl7hXg4/s300/IMG_0769.jpeg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="168" data-original-width="300" height="168" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi3-UDjnWYhniatdokIYPx_LdwlFRyZhDCrD2WqAmRsLk9rODVH32WSHnIQe2eacwbF6TaRGPWV3_J9geDqHos_PKFjaZUF1JIDfnGkXqOB7HP2JYO7YsJD_qd1B9UciN00rBOXFSpXOwsMdtAftZJBKpfBV9rIzevR0JOVpG-L3P-37uMBGMKMRl7hXg4/s1600/IMG_0769.jpeg" width="300" /></a></div><br /> Fast forward to 2022, and I got one that is more like an oven,<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhKjRlePgj4JLvEH5fEM7K07sulKvXfNKwy7BjOCs_IG9bTsdy-XThM4oZ31XeoVsS4QDIq_zoSehJU5PPp3LweUnZPMXGrrySsnY5vgMG_tFPCZde-QTdG_VzlWRcfzzNdZnbGfwkptQoKb770S5TQgEUK4AB89L3KqC2KKL4n7ULRFNmPREjUPEmGmCU/s3159/IMG_0770.png" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2304" data-original-width="3159" height="233" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhKjRlePgj4JLvEH5fEM7K07sulKvXfNKwy7BjOCs_IG9bTsdy-XThM4oZ31XeoVsS4QDIq_zoSehJU5PPp3LweUnZPMXGrrySsnY5vgMG_tFPCZde-QTdG_VzlWRcfzzNdZnbGfwkptQoKb770S5TQgEUK4AB89L3KqC2KKL4n7ULRFNmPREjUPEmGmCU/s320/IMG_0770.png" width="320" /></a></div>and I started experimenting with cooking different types of food in it. I found I can cook meat that is done without being dried out and tough. I had some pork chops I bought at Aldi, and although they weren't as thick as I normally like, they were thick enough to go in the air fryer. I seasoned them with some grill seasoning from HEB and some Tony Chachere. <div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg45P807dLb-wQtAj6rDfwt7YBuLnPTbtRKK6NhajKocjTbgO4HUcF4TC8auipC0EFxGapCyiJ2j0l2kbxHSiVQdwNfRaIpZmN887eM1NKOncdAIEgbvLMNbdNDaySzxeViw0tSGUHTKEvvT5G085NdcvbmSAN0GBTef_E8PiPdwDWtLcOddngIKSyMv1g/s3573/20240131_170050.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="3573" data-original-width="3000" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg45P807dLb-wQtAj6rDfwt7YBuLnPTbtRKK6NhajKocjTbgO4HUcF4TC8auipC0EFxGapCyiJ2j0l2kbxHSiVQdwNfRaIpZmN887eM1NKOncdAIEgbvLMNbdNDaySzxeViw0tSGUHTKEvvT5G085NdcvbmSAN0GBTef_E8PiPdwDWtLcOddngIKSyMv1g/s320/20240131_170050.jpg" width="269" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhOjVZcKlBlFMfBevAjuszxsXuJZ4tNs-yQY75UQvm9fvNi02oDO1dWVvgenrrl1LcGvtldlhdDxi5zmOov5Z6h2r0UFotVv4QWz4Z3Yf0c7ZglH7T3_szeIg5ORw8CPp57yZ95B3UApPIuRItrlgbOf9pw1vDL9ppkq2BZ0ePJuwJtxbI4UtFWriyI8lA/s3598/20240131_175004.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="3598" data-original-width="2398" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhOjVZcKlBlFMfBevAjuszxsXuJZ4tNs-yQY75UQvm9fvNi02oDO1dWVvgenrrl1LcGvtldlhdDxi5zmOov5Z6h2r0UFotVv4QWz4Z3Yf0c7ZglH7T3_szeIg5ORw8CPp57yZ95B3UApPIuRItrlgbOf9pw1vDL9ppkq2BZ0ePJuwJtxbI4UtFWriyI8lA/s320/20240131_175004.jpg" width="213" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhGAltjao6jw66tpWeDT5kR-PnY31Jiw_1hLAHk2yoBfyBNKUQ2ZBY2lBMIlpabhz8kAWK6WZQiZLqhWMfNEmwEhXM_q5iI17CIssTn2IFcdBbhH_ceAJk4QfxF3uKFzjzT0i8GJmdB4Pw_P316m1qQtFO-M5VAd2WbBaCjsTV51tIbOMxK6S44JtIdgtc/s4000/20240131_172149.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="4000" data-original-width="3000" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhGAltjao6jw66tpWeDT5kR-PnY31Jiw_1hLAHk2yoBfyBNKUQ2ZBY2lBMIlpabhz8kAWK6WZQiZLqhWMfNEmwEhXM_q5iI17CIssTn2IFcdBbhH_ceAJk4QfxF3uKFzjzT0i8GJmdB4Pw_P316m1qQtFO-M5VAd2WbBaCjsTV51tIbOMxK6S44JtIdgtc/s320/20240131_172149.jpg" width="240" /></a></div>I preheated the air fryer to 400, and cooked them 5 minutes on each side. I forgot to set this one to publish, so it’s a little late, but better late than never as they say.</span></p><p><span style="font-family: verdana;">I have some exciting news! Villa Rosa Designs is planning a blog hop in March, and I was chosen to participate!</span></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj8ObL_UMcauVnmLImb75Y2g57gbHDhHWHyoCNmkF80E7i3WjsC3GBGZ0S_YAxs85z1M7gdZM9g0vQcQPlxYzWIknXE50OmagHz3Y93MQZh-_G174gH4W6OyN9b5b2E7ScHmgC2vuEaRwzttpAqkQrtyoUIjScr6TnojfMU676sRm0N-IEDlPTAGiHPgyw/s1800/IMG_0761.jpeg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1502" data-original-width="1800" height="267" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj8ObL_UMcauVnmLImb75Y2g57gbHDhHWHyoCNmkF80E7i3WjsC3GBGZ0S_YAxs85z1M7gdZM9g0vQcQPlxYzWIknXE50OmagHz3Y93MQZh-_G174gH4W6OyN9b5b2E7ScHmgC2vuEaRwzttpAqkQrtyoUIjScr6TnojfMU676sRm0N-IEDlPTAGiHPgyw/s320/IMG_0761.jpeg" width="320" /></a></div><br /><div style="text-align: left;"><span style="font-family: verdana;">There are around 15-20 bloggers participating, and they have sent us each five patterns: a table runner, one using 10” squares, one using 5” squares, one using fat quarters, and one using a panel. We each have to choose one, make it, and write a blog post. We can do more than one if we wish. There will be some duplication since there are only five patterns and 15+ bloggers. The blog hop will happen from March 14th through March 21st. I already have a layer cake picked out for my project. I started cutting it yesterday. It's going a lot slower that I anticipated. I had to get my sales tax forms filed yesterday, and although it's not hard, it does take a couple of hours. And, I had a customer quilt I needed to finish quilting. So, once I finished those two things, I got back to work on the jacket. Here are the sleeves.</span></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><span style="font-family: verdana;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEifp7alRXeMFG48o0F0exxpu9DErwp-aPhG5AYu-yMX4dch4hw9EZxw0fN0PcI2imlKm_7mJQMSXUjRrLtBwhtSxjIclVcah97H4SN4o7qNJRLa6gBhgOWttK3fKXXrnj1j9FIlIJ_pPGwSTB4cJp0O1i0Zgz8NI9Q2JOaJFtllLI69pB3Wo16hePPCGkU/s4000/20240131_140644.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="3000" data-original-width="4000" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEifp7alRXeMFG48o0F0exxpu9DErwp-aPhG5AYu-yMX4dch4hw9EZxw0fN0PcI2imlKm_7mJQMSXUjRrLtBwhtSxjIclVcah97H4SN4o7qNJRLa6gBhgOWttK3fKXXrnj1j9FIlIJ_pPGwSTB4cJp0O1i0Zgz8NI9Q2JOaJFtllLI69pB3Wo16hePPCGkU/s320/20240131_140644.jpg" width="320" /></a></span></div><span style="font-family: verdana;">They are pinned together, but they still need to be basted and quilted. Once you figure out where to position all the stars that were made as pre-work, you have to sew together more "fill-in" pieces, and keep adding them onto the stars until all the sweatshirt pieces are covered. I kept it as simple as possible once I figured out how much time it was going to take. I am doing the quilting on my domestic machine. I'm just doing a cross-hatch pattern. You can see it a little on the back.<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhX30do1fbeUBiOkUP5wa5bRjFwPAnXn6y-HGSF9EDx3Sd4pJnz8AvNat9ZHGu1AZdDIDl7sVnyd3wAY3Yj4BbUN32XMVQPtvrBizMosd6y0iU_-_4IY1Kn0fisWhbFrNuzU4m3oT8zH-GEGWH5ySERAX79RHXuEv2q4AezJbKGCM9fAP1fkzopxke9KuA/s3410/20240129_131043.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; Nothing like waiting until the last minute. I have been doing the American Patchwork and Quilting annual UFO challenge for a few years now, and it had worked for me. They have blank templates with numbered lists where you can write the 12 projects you want to work on. Every month they would publish a number, and you would work on the project on your list that had that number. This year, they offered the blank lists, but they are no longer selecting the monthly number. I figured I could make my list and just work on the projects in number order. I guess it’s not as motivating because I put it off all month. </span></p><p><span style="font-family: verdana;">This top was made in August or September.</span></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><span style="font-family: verdana;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiRLMXLFJh30Hzz5niNutB24vV_Gzty19YNK-L2hKkMaNlIw8pBdtpW9EwxQyqklAw5hOn0Pt2PDo6AFJvVHKfdhAH0lIbXfgN5SRNakcmTt9SRdIB5w1uaYXQ2rRLDA3P0UNE2jHINc6ZFZ1EeoevKuCU8YBmB2ry_VnE3PLRzvID-Dtdlf8MsDTw23YI/s11109/20230924_103138.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="11109" data-original-width="9000" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiRLMXLFJh30Hzz5niNutB24vV_Gzty19YNK-L2hKkMaNlIw8pBdtpW9EwxQyqklAw5hOn0Pt2PDo6AFJvVHKfdhAH0lIbXfgN5SRNakcmTt9SRdIB5w1uaYXQ2rRLDA3P0UNE2jHINc6ZFZ1EeoevKuCU8YBmB2ry_VnE3PLRzvID-Dtdlf8MsDTw23YI/s320/20230924_103138.jpg" width="259" /></a></span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><span style="font-family: verdana;"><br /></span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><span style="font-family: verdana;">It’s a Villa Rosa pattern called Birthday Cake. I haven't done as much sewing as I would have liked. Last week was rainy, and the dogs use the doggy door to go outside, so needless to say, my floors were all tracked up with paw prints. I spent a day mopping everything, and I decided to go ahead and clean the furniture and wash all the dog beds while I was at it. I'm happy to say it smells fresh in there now. I spent another day baking pies for a party, and the rest of the day at the party. </span></p><p><span style="font-family: verdana;">All in all, I did okay with my to-do list, even with all the distractions.</span></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><span style="font-family: verdana;">1) Work on 6” scrap vortex blocks. <span style="color: #cc0000;">Yes, I did work on them, but not a lot of progress was made. Cafeteria food—oh boy.</span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><span style="background-color: white; caret-color: rgb(204, 0, 0); font-family: verdana;"><br /></span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><span style="background-color: white; caret-color: rgb(204, 0, 0); font-family: verdana;">I am liking this post to </span><a href="https://quiltschmilt.ca/" style="background-color: white; caret-color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: verdana;" target="_blank">Quilt Schmilt</a><span style="background-color: white; caret-color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: verdana;">. </span><span style="background-color: white; caret-color: rgb(204, 0, 0); font-family: verdana;">Have a </span><span style="background-color: white; caret-color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: verdana;">wonderful week wherever you are reading this!</span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><div><span style="font-family: verdana;"><br /></span></div></div>Carolynhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09185472532776331210noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5678668371644705359.post-57741540607279189992024-01-25T01:30:00.001-06:002024-01-25T01:30:00.135-06:00Catching Up<span style="font-family: verdana;">It has rained for three straight days, maybe four, I can’t remember. The weather is good for sewing, and not much else. Here’s last week’s list:</span></p><p><span style="background-color: white; caret-color: rgb(204, 0, 0); font-family: verdana;">1) Find a border for New Zealand quilt. </span><span style="caret-color: rgb(204, 0, 0); color: #cc0000; font-family: verdana;">Yes, and I got it sewn on.</span></p><div style="background-color: white;"><span style="font-family: verdana;"><span style="caret-color: rgb(204, 0, 0);"><span style="color: #cc0000;"><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgOkRteyXfGzvAAtkXXKAH_RS512vuRzK82A8vYmKUgYJ_U96mRoOKKDSwNRRjgffZnUb06FA1cJ503Wfk4YH9DIvfgMKKrMw6MSRP_2PON_Nhx3ZnOdyRvbliq8igvaQQ0489r0Scef6DiFPJH181qNWxms3IMBRWPmOjVbu_n14ecOLrsjDj3HcXrO_o/s3557/20240120_143158.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="3557" data-original-width="3000" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgOkRteyXfGzvAAtkXXKAH_RS512vuRzK82A8vYmKUgYJ_U96mRoOKKDSwNRRjgffZnUb06FA1cJ503Wfk4YH9DIvfgMKKrMw6MSRP_2PON_Nhx3ZnOdyRvbliq8igvaQQ0489r0Scef6DiFPJH181qNWxms3IMBRWPmOjVbu_n14ecOLrsjDj3HcXrO_o/s320/20240120_143158.jpg" width="270" /></a></div><br /></span></span></span></div><div style="background-color: white;"><span style="font-family: verdana;"><span style="caret-color: rgb(204, 0, 0);">2) Finish piecing stars for guild workshop. <span style="color: #cc0000;">Well, I’m working on it.
