There hasn’t been a lot of sewing happening lately. Life is busy! I have been working on the Stay at Home Round Robin, and I was able to get the borders finished and get it on the frame.
I’m really trying to get it quilted and bound by March 25th or whatever the deadline is but I don’t know. ??? I know I can get the quilting done, but I’m not feeling too confident about the binding. I’ll go as far as I can.
I’ve worked some on my RSC blocks. In fact, I still had some green strips cut that didn’t get sewn in February so I finished those two blocks.
Then I did a red one.
I like the red. It’s my favorite color. I remember when I was a kid and my mom bought me dresses that were blue or green or worse yet, blue and green plaid. LOL. I wanted red or pink!
I made a couple of the corn and beans block
and I hope to get a few more done. I just need to cut more red strips.
I just feel like there aren’t enough hours in the day to get everything done that I want to do! I still need to get started on the BOM from A Quilting Life. I have the pattern printed out and the fabric chosen for the block.
I went to the Shiner quilt show today, and I will post pictures as soon as I get them uploaded from my phone to Google. They had it at the Shiner KC Hall, and the lighting was not at all good, so I will have to do some editing.

Your SAHRR is so pretty - I envy you getting it on the frame! I'm still trying to figure out whether or not to use dark or light fabric setting triangles on the blocks. There definitely is not enough time in the day - lol!
ReplyDeleteThere really isn’t enough time in each day! I hope you get your SAHRR figured out.
Deletelots of nice blocks - variety is nice.
ReplyDeleteThank you!
DeleteAwesome red blocks! You're right - some weeks just get too busy to fit in any sewing. But it will be waiting for you.
ReplyDeleteThere's never enough time to sew!! Love those little squares blocks for RSC. Super cute! Good luck on your SAHRR. It always feels good to get something all the way done!
