Rainy Saturday

I had good intentions of working in the yard Saturday, bit it rained all day. Hard! It was a better day for sewing than for yard work. I will have to find time to get it done soon though. It’s time to get it back into shape. In the meantime, I got Marian’s second quilt finished.

It is a Villa Rosa pattern called Dainty Machines. She had seen the pattern at my shop one day when she was picking up quilts and asked the name of it. I’m a little jealous that she got it finished already, and I have never even started it!

The Farmers Market was postponed until 10 am, when the weather forecast said there would be a break in the rain. That gave the vendors time to get set up. There weren’t as many people there as usual; I hope the vendors were able to sell everything they brought.

I got some tomatoes, yellow squash, zucchini, and onions. No eggplant though; that’s the one vegetable I don’t care for. My favorite booth is the loaded tea. I always buy a large one when I’m there.

I got the orange/pineapple for a change this time. I usually get cherry and ocean water.

  1. That's a cute pattern! I'm jealous all the time of every make - lol! Is that tea like the HTeaO stores? There is one in Sherman, but we've never tried it. They have all kinds of teas and add-ins. Enjoy your Sunday!
