Is Luby’s only in Texas? I know a lot of them have closed, but we still have one here. In fact, we were there a couple of weeks ago for a car show, and we do eat there occasionally.
A long time ago (maybe 30 years!) they had a salad I liked a lot. They no longer serve it, but I have been making it at home lately. Iceberg lettuce, boiled egg, sliced onion, green olives and French dressing. It really is as good as I remembered.
