Pretty in Pink

It's no secret I love pink, and this one is too pretty not to post on the blog.
It's fairly large, around 94" x 104". It's not mine--I quilted it for a customer. I like the back as well as the front. It's one of my favorite Kaffe prints.
I just love the big, pink roses.

I have been staying busy, but it doesn't always seem like I'm making progress. It helps if I make myself sit down and list on here what I have actually done. Yes, I need to clean house, work on the flower beds, do some purging in my closets, but all in all, things are mostly getting done.

I did get two quilts quilted for the North Carolina hurricane relief. I haven't heard how many they need, but I have another pieced that I can quilt and bind if I need to. Here are the two I got quilted.

I have a customer quilt on the frame right now. I'm trying to get things finished and out the door. Janice dropped off another top yesterday, but so far that's the only thing I have taken in this week. I have a quilt guild board meeting today, and I plan to spend the rest of the day working on customer quilts, and hopefully all day Friday. That should help some.

  1. I love pink too - makes me happy to work with it! That quilt is gorgeous. Is your guild sending hurricane relief quilts or are you doing it personally? Do you have an address?

    1. Hi Linda. One of the local quilt shop owners is renting a truck and taking quilts on November 25th. I don't have the address, but I will email you my address if you want to send something.
