After two weeks of non-reality, I’m back in the groove. I took a bag class last week, Thursday and Friday, but I didn’t get very far.
These are the front panels….I decided to change some of the dimensions and had to recut the sides and bottom, so that’s slowing me down. Anyway, I like the colors.I finished the binding on this one:
It will be donated to Day One. It was a kit I ordered from Villa Rosa. I have another top ready to quilt for them. Betty pieced it, and I’m going to add a border to make it the required size, which is the same thing I did for this one.I got this picture from our cruise.
I don’t know why she couldn’t just send it to me when it was taken, but she finally sent it. I had actually given up, but better late than never, I guess.
Lol on non-reality! Love the panels on your bag, gorgeous colors. What a pretty quilt - I did not know that Villa Rosa had kits. That's a great photo! Is that the captain sitting amongst you? :)
ReplyDeleteLOL! Yes it’s the captain. He came down to the conference room to see what we were working on. I forgot his name—he told he is from Greece. Villa Rosa does have kits, and sometimes puts them on sale. You have to watch the website to catch the sales.
