I really don’t have much to post…I think I’m getting another sinus infection, and I am spending a lot of my time sitting around doing a whole lot of nothing. To make it worse, my air conditioner quit working, and I am hot and grouchy. LOL. The a/c went out Sunday, and I texted my a/c guy to let him know the fan wasn’t running. He came over Sunday evening and said the blower motor had died. Unfortunately, there isn’t a replacement for it in Victoria, and we are waiting for one to get sent from San Antonio. I currently have a fan blowing on me, and that helps, but I don’t think it helps my sinuses. I am going to call today and try to get an appointment with my doctor. I’ve had a lot of infections this year, and that’s definitely not normal for me. I wish I knew what was causing it. I’m praying my a/c gets fixed today. I would go out and stay at my mom’s—she has plenty of room—but she doesn’t keep her house much cooler than what mine is right now, and I would have to leave the dogs here. The dogs are okay with the hot house, but I am refilling the water bowls twice a day just to be sure. We are still getting rain showers so our outside temps aren’t as high as usual. 91 instead of 98. LOL.

I found a great recipe on “Easy DIY Recipes” I want to try soon. It’s called Green Chile Hamburger Helper. As soon as it’s cooler in the house I will try it. Recipe here. It looks so good. High carb, but good. I’ll let you know how it turns out.

I have a wedding to attend August 1st. Ughhh. I need a dress, and I hate to shop. I mostly wear jeans and tee shirts in the winter and shorts and tee shirts in the summer. I found this one, and I like it.

It’s loose enough that I won’t have to wear shapewear, which I hate. It was available in several colors but I chose yellow. The bride is my best friend from high school. Her husband passed away about five years ago, and she is remarrying. I was the maid of honor in her first wedding, and my dress was yellow so it seemed appropriate. 

Oh to be young and thin again! The wedding is in Richmond, and I am riding with the girl in the back in the green dress. It’s so nice that we’ve all remained friends! 

I have done some sewing, but I haven’t been taking pictures. Hopefully that will happen soon.
