I'm happy to say I got the quilting done!
I keep looking for a picture where the lighting doesn't wash it out so much.....
It really is much more vibrant in person. I used a quilting pattern called "bamboo swirls".
It's a nice open pattern like I prefer, so I am happy with that. I cut some solid red for the binding.....it is all sewn together, pressed, and ready to go on the quilt. Alan said he would bind this one for me. He know I really dislike binding. In fact, I have some quilts here that are have been quilted for ages that are just waiting for the binding. I probably need to add them to my UFO list and see if I can just get them done.
