These were all small, wall-hanging type quilts. I loved all of them, especially the bright squares with the black background. Each square was about 1/2".
Smaller than the nail on my index finger!
A quilting journal........

I didn't think I would be able to go to the Victoria Quilt Show this year due to my work schedule, but I was able to get away a little early on Friday, which gave me just enough time to go and see everything. I didn't have time to linger over anything so I took plenty of pictures that I could look at later for inspiration.
I got the needed strips cut and all are counted out in the appropriate stacks.
I pulled some of the gold and some of the neutral so I could cut the half-square triangles. I should have time to get them sewn tonight; hopefully pressed too, but it depends how tired I am after work.I'm doing this pattern.
Where they used red, I will use gold, and my darker reds and greens will be where they used the medium florals. I will know more about whether or not I like it once I start putting the blocks together. Of course, the main goal is to get it all out of the stash.
