All The Dogs

It's no secret I love dogs. Luckily, Bill loves dogs as much as I do. Just in case I've never done pictures of all of them in one posts, here are the fab four:

Ryder    

Rosie 

Reba Jane

Ruth Ann, aka Ruthie, aka Baby Ruth 

Ryder and Reba are both Jagdterriers, Rosie is a schnauzer, German shepherd, pit bull mix, and Ruthie is about 30% chihuahua, 20% lab, 20% schnauzer, little bit of chow, and the rest super mutt (according to her DNA test). 

They all have their own unique personalities; Ryder was a total basket case when I got him. I don't know what kind of trauma he'd been through, but he is semi-normal now and pretty laid back, unless he is on the trail of some prey. Rosie is bossy and self-confident, very friendly, and super smart. She considers herself the alpha, although she sometimes gets challenged by Reba. Reba is athletic and usually has a ball in her mouth. She can catch a ball mid-air, open doors, jump fences. She is the problem child and super high energy. Bill found Ruthie in the flower bed at his daughter's shop when she was a pup. She was scared and hungry, so of course, he brought her home. She hasn't been hungry or scared since as far as I know. She is not the smartest of the four, but she is sweet and affectionate, and the other dogs are very gentle with her (although they are quite rough with each other).  

There is never a dull moment around here.....unless they are all four asleep, which does happen sometimes.
