Another week has flown by. I’m ready for the weekend so I can rest. Although I probably won’t. I need to mow grass and clean my house. I taught the bargello workshop at the quilt guild meeting yesterday. And, yes, I got my sample done.
That’s not the one we did in the workshop. We did this one:
I didn’t get mine finished, and neither did anyone else, but we disbanded early, so there really wasn’t time to finish. I’m going to Yorktown today to pick up some fabric I ordered, and I will take both bargello quilts along to see if I can find some border fabric.Serenity had a volleyball game Tuesday night, and I went, but I didn’t take any pictures. It wasn’t a very exciting game, and they lost by a lot of points. I went to Kathryn’s game last night, and it was senior night.
It was a good game with close scores, but they won. I’m sad to think it’s Kat’s last year to play, but they grow up fast. Thank goodness Serenity still has quite a few years to play.
Your bargello is so pretty. I've never tried one, I bet you are a great teacher. Will Kat pursue volleyball in college?
ReplyDeleteI hope you will try the bargello. It is one of my favorites. Kat has decided not to play volleyball in college. In her words, “Volleyball is not a career choice.”
