Fri-Yay

Another week has flown by. I’m ready for the weekend so I can rest. Although I probably won’t. I need to mow grass and clean my house. I taught the bargello workshop at the quilt guild meeting yesterday. And, yes, I got my sample done.

That’s not the one we did in the workshop. We did this one:

I didn’t get mine finished, and neither did anyone else, but we disbanded early, so there really wasn’t time to finish. I’m going to Yorktown today to pick up some fabric I ordered, and I will take both bargello quilts along to see if I can find some border fabric.

Serenity had a volleyball game Tuesday night, and I went, but I didn’t take any pictures. It wasn’t a very exciting game, and they lost by a lot of points. I went to Kathryn’s game last night, and it was senior night.

It was a good game with close scores, but they won. I’m sad to think it’s Kat’s last year to play, but they grow up fast. Thank goodness Serenity still has quite a few years to play.

  1. Your bargello is so pretty. I've never tried one, I bet you are a great teacher. Will Kat pursue volleyball in college?

    1. I hope you will try the bargello. It is one of my favorites. Kat has decided not to play volleyball in college. In her words, “Volleyball is not a career choice.”
