Oh my goodness, what a busy couple of days. I got a quilt quilted,
and then, I got another one quilted.I will need to put the binding on this one. I got the binding made yesterday; I just need to get it on the quilt, and then this one is ready to go.I dropped off quilts, receiving blankets, burp pads, and diaper bags our guild members made for Gabriel Project.
They were so happy to get all these items.
I spent most of yesterday trying to get ready for my trip to Houston. I will only be gone three days, but I have to board the dogs, so I got dog food, bagged it up in individual portions, did laundry, bought some snacks, put gas in the car, etc. It all seems like a lot of effort for a three day trip. When I was younger, I could just roll up a pair of jeans with some clean underwear and a toothbrush, and I was good to go. Now it takes a separate bag just for my skin care and medications.
My daughter will feed the cats while I am gone. Cheeto and his friend.
I don’t know if the big gray one has a name or not. I call him Gordon. I was actually calling him Gordo (Spanish for fat boy), but I didn’t want to be insulting, so I changed it to Gordon.
I know I will be tired when I get back from Houston, but I hope to have all kinds of inspirations for new projects.
