Placemats!

I’m still a little overwhelmed with all the organization tasks required for getting all my stuff sorted. I made two trips to Goodwill today, and need to load up the car tonight so I can make another stop after work tomorrow. 

I was thinking some more about charity donations. In the past I made placemats for Meals on Wheels. It was about 15 years ago, but they always told me how they were appreciated. I pulled some strips from the strip bin—the center pieces were already sewn together, and started sewing. This is what I came up with:

The ones on the right we’re an experiment I was trying. Next time, I will make those three center strips shorter so I can add an extra light strip on each side. It’s all quick and easy, and I’m excited to make more.
