Another year has come and gone. The only surprising thing about that is how fast it happened. I’m not picking a focus word this year—I’ve picked one for the last several years, but I don’t feel a need to do it this year. I have plenty of things to focus on, and the hardest part will be prioritizing everything correctly.
I looked through my camera roll to see what quilting/ sewing projects I finished in 2023, and it looks like I went to several quilt shows, some shop hops, and several social functions. LOL. I quilted a lot of customer quilts, but I don’t include those in my year-end wrap up. I also pieced a lot of tops, but they mostly aren’t quilted—probably because I did so many customer quilts.
Betty and I spent most of December quilting and binding donation quilts, but we’re now working on pillowcases, and I don’t have pictures yet, so those aren’t included either. Here’s what I did include:
Eight quilts, six table runners, three sets of placemats, assorted pot holders, key fobs, a tea towel, and a stationary folio.
It’s not a lot, but I stayed busy and productive, and that’s the main thing. I hope to be able to get more of my own tops quilted in 2024 and maybe get some bags finished. I hope all of you have a happy, healthy year!
It's fun to see your 2023 "production" all laid out in a post. Very impressive and colorful!
